The Challenge
A household goods retailer with two staff members was spending around ten hours each week on inventory tracking, reorder decisions, and supplier messages — all managed across multiple spreadsheets with no clear handoff between them.
What We Did
After the Gentle First Steps session, the owner opted for the Process Companion. Over three and a half weeks we consolidated the spreadsheets into one system and configured a simple AI-assisted reorder trigger. We prepared a one-page reference sheet the staff could follow without explanation.
The Outcome
Weekly time on inventory tasks dropped from around ten hours to three. Supplier messages are now drafted by the tool and reviewed rather than written from scratch. Three months on, the system is still running without any additional support.

The Challenge
A two-person accountancy practice was losing a significant part of each working day to client onboarding documentation, appointment coordination, and drafting routine client update emails — all of it done manually.
What We Did
The owner enrolled in the Steady Guidance retainer after an initial First Steps session. Over the first two months, we worked through two areas: a document template system and an AI-assisted email drafting workflow. Each was introduced separately, with time to settle in before the next change.
The Outcome
The practice estimates it now recovers around six hours per week that previously went to administrative tasks. Client-facing communication is more consistent. The owner continues on the retainer and has recently started exploring one further area.

Getting a hesitant team to trust a new tool
The Challenge
A catering and delivery business wanted to reduce errors in order management but had staff who were wary of any new system. Previous attempts to introduce software had not gone well — tools were used briefly, then abandoned.
What We Did

The Outcome
